'A Series of Unfortunate Events'

I'd like to give credit to Lemony Snicket for the title I used for today's post. But yes, I have been experiencing a series of "Unfortunate Events". Want to know why? Read on.
If you have been following my blog, I have previously posted that I have lost my job around 2 weeks ago. Yet, I stayed hopeful that I would find a replacement. Unfortunately, I still haven't landed any job. :( I am again in the process of trying to apply again, and hopefully would make it to atleast one. *sigh*

And, as if that was not enough. Just 2 days ago, we had a power outage, followed by a power surge. This has ruined my laptop's power supply. T_T Definitely unfortunate. :(

But, despite these incidents, I always have been blessed. The reason why I was able to update my blog is because I am now using my dad's tough book. It basically is a laptop that you can step on, not mind getting dropped (just mind your feet, you don't want them to get crushed!), don't mind getting it wet, etc! So, this just makes me worry less that my BabyLove would ruin my laptop as she sometimes sits on it! Yikes! Want to know how it looks like? Check below picture:

It pretty much resembles a toolbox when closed! Hahaha! Well, the laptops were made for military use, and are called ruggedized laptops. :D

Hope this week is treating you well. As for me, something great is awaiting me this week! It's my birthday, and we are headed to Puerto Princesa this Saturday for my birthday trip! Yay! Can't wait!

'Til my next post!

Cheers!

  1. Are you applying for online jobs? Friends has been suggesting that I try that but I don't know where to start. Anyway, good luck with your job hunting!

    1. Yes, I am Gene. Actually, I've been working online for 2 years now. :) I just had an interview, so hope it turns out okay! It takes a lot of patience and trial. But, once you land a job, it's pretty fulfilling. :)
