{Day Out} Thrifty Shopping

Who doesn't love cheap yet quality finds, right? I always (well, at least) try to find great items with a not so really great price (if you know what I mean! Haha!). So, today, me, my BabyLove and my parents went out to go for a day out of thrifty shopping! Some items I wanted to look for were stuff I could wear or use for our trip to Palawan next week for my birthday. Yay! Check out the photos of some of the things I got from our shopping. ;)

Inside the fitting room, trying out one of the clothes I bought. :)

Front of the dress. Ain't it pretty? That only cost me Php120

For those who have read my 'What Makes You Happy Post', you might know that I LOVE coffee. So, I bought myself this creamer, French Vanilla flavor. :D

I remember when we used to get one of these in 'balikbayan' boxes when we were little. So, I was so giddy to get one of these! I just realized that I wasn't able to get the pixi powder though! Argh!

Also reminds me of childhood! One of my all-time fave sour bubble gum!

I used to love these when I was a kid. Now, it's BabyLove's turn to enjoy bubble baths! :D I got this in 1 litre for only a little over $2.

Nail Dryer. Found this in the toy section! Haha! But since I love doing my nails so much, I thought I needed one of these. And, I got it for less than Php100!

Yay! Clear stamps! I got 5 packs (as you can see). I also got a pack of paper stack and a corner puncher. Not the  standard corner rounder though (there wasn't any available). Planning to go back again when I get the budget again to collect more stuff! These all are for bargain prices! These don't sell cheap online! These are all approx just approx. Php500.

Diaper rash creams at the mall or pharmacies cost Php300 and above! This I got for just a little over Php50! Same goes for the Cabinet and Drawer latches (because my BabyLove is starting to open the pantry! I am afraid she might drop the canned goods on her feet! So, these are one of my most needed.

And finally, a door fence (is that correct?) which we got for just Php500 at a Japanese thrift store!  I definitely needed this but did not want to buy an expensive brand new item! This looks just like brand new, and I have never found anything similar as cheap as this!
I got a few more such as shoes and the other clothes I got for just Php120 each, but was too lazy to take a photo as it is really late. Haha!

Hope you enjoyed going shopping with me (well, virtually at least! Haha!) Hope you all had a great day as I did!

Cheers!

    1. Hello Mommy Maye,

Who doesn't, right? :D The stores are found here in Clarkfield Pampanga. They are Duty Free shops. :) Most items are US Imports especially canned and boxed foods and juices and the like.. :) Items are really cheap, although now it was not as cheap as it first started. But still, very great prices as compared to those at the mall, especially when it comes to baby stuff, hair prods and clothes that come from the US. :) Hope that helps.

  2. Great Finds! I hope I can find a great deal for door fence too. I need 2 door fence and the one that I saw cost around 3k. Do they sell online? (desperate)

And Oh, I like crafting too but I never get to use that clear stamp because I don't know how it works. Maybe show me some of your works. I hope I don't sound too demanding.

Awww! Sorry about your disappointment. I am from Pampanga lang kasi, so for me it was convenient.. I only go to Manila occasionally for trips to Divisoria, but that is really seldom. :(

    2. Me too Ukay ukay is the best to go thrift shopping. Kaso wise na rin yung ibang may ari ng ukay-ukayan. Mahal din ang price lalo na if alam nila branded.

I also love to shop for cheap finds. In my case, I usually get it from used Japan stores.
