...a MOSQUITO! Haha!
Look how fresh the blood still was when I killed the mosquito. Take note, these 2 pairs of photos were taken at different days. :D Haha! Because of the rainy days, mosquitoes just seem to be EVERYWHERE. Mosquito lotions don't even last long. Which is why I am going out this weekend to get my BabyLove a mosquito net to protect her from the pesky blood-suckers during the night and whenever she sleeps.
Add it to your boards!
Nagulat ako, hahaha! I thought you cut yourself with something here sis. Take extra care back home.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from CE Aug21.
Hahahaha! Naku, Jhari, hindi naman.. :P hahaha! Thanks for dropping by.. ;)
Deleteay grabe mahirap magka-dengue ang baby mo, we plant tanglad plant around the house, mosquito repellent kasi ito eh
ReplyDeleteAy, true Reese! Wow, Buti pa kayo may tanim na tanglad.. Kami, wala pang pagtataniman! Haha!
DeleteAlas! you killed two of the real life vampires! :D

ReplyDeleteTotoo yun sis! Katakot talaga ang Dengue, especially sa mga kids.. >.< Thanks for dropping by sis!
DeleteHOpe your house was not flooded during Habagat. Pampanga was filled with water. Take care!
ReplyDeleteThanks Farida.. Luckily, our town does not and has never been flooded.
DeleteRainy season is hatching season for mosquitoes. :( Hoarded supplies na nga of mosquito patches for my little ones. We also have citronella diffuser in our room.
ReplyDeleteso true. water that has just been stagnant for less than 24 hrs, you'll already see wrigglers! that's why i never let water sit stagnantly.
Deletehahhaha. lamok killer! always put off lotion to you baby to avoid mosquito bites and even dengue..
ReplyDeletehaha! or lamok terminator. haha. thanks for the reminder aby. i never forget to put off lotion on my babylove. haha
DeleteAside from lotion, you can use chinese incense coils. it is better than katol.
ReplyDeletearent they harmful to inhale? hmm. because i know katol is harmful when used all the time because you inhad th smoke. if it is safe, where can i get one? i want to put one under our dining table
DeleteIt has a mild scent than katol. I think you can buy in a chinese store or home depot. I tried asking at SM dept store but it was out of stock.
DeleteHere is the picture: http://incense-china.com/images/not_for_sale/coil_incense.jpg
ah ok ... so that's why I see lots of mosquitoes around my house too. And here I was worried I'm not cleaning my house hard enough. I spray my whole house with Baygon every time I go out. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteno matter how many times we spray, too, there still are mosquitoes in just a matter of minutes. ><
DeleteMy son's yaya and our helper just had dengue last week. I'm so freaking worried that the dengue carrier mosquito will spot us. I sprayed baygon in and out our house and also bought off lotion for my son.
ReplyDeleteaww! poor little guy. i hope he is better now. yes, i sure will be worried as hell too if my babylove gets dengue.
DeleteOur little princess had dengue too last week. It was horrifying experience. If I have a magic wand I'd powderize the mosquitos away
ReplyDeletei am sorry to hear that too Lalah. how is your lil princess? hope she is better already
DeleteBloody blood sucker mosquitoes. When I was a kid, I remember I what I usually did during rainy season. I'll ask my mother to put some oil on a plate then I'll go to the dark areas in our house and wave the plate. I enjoyed watching all those "suckers" hardly breathing because of the oil. hahaha
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I am trying to imagine as to how that will work? Will they stick on the plate because of the oil then die? Haha! That would be fun to do! LoL
Deleteit is better that the windows and doors are protected by screens to resist mosquitos coming inside our home.
ReplyDeleteWe do have screens on all our windows and doors. It seems the mosquitoes still find their way in for some reason. >.<
DeleteThat little insect that gives major sickness and problem got what it deserved. Always take/wear/apply protective stuffs to keep them away.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Ron! Thanks for the reminder. ;)
Deleteuff.. i hate mosquitoes... i have one way of killing them. Here in norway, there are also mosquitos but not dangerous but they said here that if the mosquitos bites on you just let them sucks your blood and don't kill them right away. Because if you do then their wings will go into your skin. It is more dangerous... so then let them sucks and then when they are full they will fly away. This is just another way of killing them.... instead of killing just let them fly..haha.
ReplyDeleteWish mosquitoes here weren't dangerous.. Here, we have dengue which is really scary especially for younger children or the elderly because they have lower resistance to sickness. And yes, I HATE mosquitoes very much as well.. Argh!
DeleteGish! I thought you cut yourself. Yay those are from Mosquitos pala! Be safe :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! They sure look like cuts because of the fresh blood the mosquitoes got from me..
Deletehahahaha.. I thought u accidentally hurt yourself..anyway the mosquito deserve what you did, I also do that sometimes...
ReplyDeleteAhahaha! Sorry I scared most of you guys here.. xD I'm definitely fine, no worries. :P
Deletehahahahhaa :) akala ko nasugatan ka or what.. mosquito killer din ako :)
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA!! I thought you cut yourself mosquito pala! Keep safe :)
ReplyDeletehahahaha! Luckily, they aren't cuts,, LoL.. Thanks for dropping by!
DeleteIrritatingly yes, they are everywhere! My niece got dengue and is in the hospital right now, she's recovering well. But all the more reason to hate those suckers!
ReplyDeleteOh yes!!! these small mosquitoes cause so much trouble to our health if we dont take proper precautions.. Hoping and praying for her continuous recovery...
DeleteLoad up on insect repellant lotion and keep surroundings clean. Better safe than sorry.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kat! Yep, we sure are struggling to keep our surroundings clean as much as we could.. However, if neighbors dont do the same, mosquitoes would still be everywhere.. :(
DeleteWe really need to get protected from mosquitoes.
ReplyDeleteSo true! That is why I am doing the best I can to keep my BabyLove safe from the mosquitoes..
DeleteYou got me there, haha! I thought at first you hurt yourself yun pala mosquito lang. haha
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! This pic turned out to be somewhat like a prank. Haha. Everyone thought I got hurt or something. But, thanks for the concern though, everyone. Don't worry, I am perfectly fine.. :P
DeleteIt gives me satisfaction to splat mosquitoes hehehe...those blood suckers!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! Same here! I feel so accomplished when I get to kill a mosquito.. xD
Deletehonestly, i hate mosquitoes too, i hope they can all die, lol.
ReplyDeleteYeah!!! They are small yet terrible!
DeletePlease be extra mindful in choosing a mosquito repellent for your babylove though. Some has strong chemicals that might cause some damage.
ReplyDeleteSis, just curious. How do you place a lot of posts in one page like these one? I tried it but as I try to put another post in the same page, it replaces the old one. I should be doing something wrong, right? Pls. help an ignorant woman. :-)
Sure thing, sis! I always check on the ingredients of mosquito repellents for the safety of my BabyLove. ;)
