Dealing with stress and frustrations

Frustrations, stress, we all come to the point when we feel like just breaking down to cry. This serves true when I need to work and my ♥ BabyLove ♥ is making tantrums and I need to work or so tired that I wish I could just sleep. At some point, no matter how patient we are in trying to handle the situation as cool as possible, we tend to just feel that everything's crumbling down. So, what do you do when you feel frustrated? Maybe some of the things I do might help some of you.

  • Breathe in, breathe out. No matter what situation, you will most likely hear or know that this is one of the things they suggest you do to calm yourself. It does help. Just take a few moments, even if your little one is really making tantrums, take the time to breathe deeply in, and exhale. And as you do, simply think that you are letting out your stress as you exhale.
  • Do something you love doing. Whether it's reading, crafts, movie marathons, eating chocolates, whatever you think would make you feel better, do it. As for me, I think I do all that I have mentioned to relieve me from my stress. As soon as my  ♥ BabyLove ♥ falls asleep or stops making tantrums, I simply turn into my favorite things, and I would be feeling better. Think of the song, "My Favorite Things" from "Sound of Music". That pretty much suggests the same thing I have just mentioned! Haha! Don't know the song? Click here to listen to the song.
  • Feel like crying? Then, cry it out. It helps A LOT to make you feel better, trust me! Cry with your little baby. You may look crazy, doing it, but it's loads of help in making you feel better. Nothing more I can say. =P
  • Find motivational quotes. Just a simple Google search on inspirational quotes on any situation will instantly give you a boost when you are feeling down. One of my favorite sites to visit is Quote Garden. They got loads of quotations that range from inspirational to funny that really makes my day. You will find more sites on Google's search results.
Well, that's what I basically do when I am really, really stressed out. There are some more minor things I would do, but basically, the above mentioned are the first things I do as soon as I start feeling bad. Then, other minor things branch out. And, before you know it, you feel all better
How about you? How do you de-stress? Care to share your thoughts? Share them in the comment section below! I'd love to hear the creative ways you guys do to get rid of all your stress and frustrations.

So, until next post then. I hope you found this post informative and would help you feel better the next time you feel frustrated.

Cheers!

  1. I love the Sound of Music :). I never tire of listening to the songs over and over again...

I just cry and let it all out when I'm stressed. Sometimes I admit that I do things I regret later on... It's just difficult when we have to go at parenting alone, isn't it?

  2. Yes, it sure is difficult. You have to deal with your emotions alone. Well, I am pretty much lucky that my mom gives me the support I need. =)A quote I love is "I know its hard being a single mother but I'd rather do it by myself than with someone who doesn't want to." :)

Sound of Music is also one of my fave movies. It's an instant pick-me-upper when I feel down. Plus, the music's so happy happy. Haha.

  3. Hi! Thanks for dropping by my site too. I have been getting a bit frustrated lately myself and the do you know what I do when I feel that everything is too much?

I wind down with a glass of cold coke and chippy. I know it sounds lame - but it really helps me. Or I read other blogs like yours. It gets lonely sometimes. :(

    1. I completely understand where you are coming from. And, for the record, it isn't lame. In fact, I do the same "lame" things just to make me feel better. :)

And yes, reading other blogs, especially those on the same niche, makes us feel better. =)

Thanks for visiting my blog as well. =D

    1. I did follow back. =) Thanks!

And yes. Everybody gets stressed. All we need to do is remind ourselves that it's just one of those days. And maybe, a sign that it's time to relax for a bit and get away from work for just a little while.
